µTrac is a miniature locator and identification tag that acquires and relays geographic position over a satellite with a robust 20dB of link margin. In other words, it works exactly where and when it's supposed to. In Blue Force Tracking, for example, a tag attached to a wounded soldier will send distress signals, even through a triple canopy where it is almost impossible for radio signals to get through.
