It began with a desire to be a little different.
As any good engineer understands, we can have the perfect solution on our hands and still question how to make it better. That continuous quest for perfection is part of the reason this company was formed. Founder and President Dr. Mike Pascale spent 17 years of his career at Northrop Grumman Corporation where he excelled as technical lead of a group dedicated to Software Defined Radios. Working there provided a wealth of experience, but left him feeling too far removed from his clients. With so much so often lost in translation, he wanted more face-to-face time with clients, to be out there the field, and to create superior products.
So in 2001, Dr. Pascale started his own company, Engenium, now called ETC. He recruited a team of senior engineers and managers who have been collaborating together for over 20 years and hired bright new talent to complete the mix.
Today, we’re a successful small business with diverse experience. At ETC, it’s commonplace that you meet with not only the customer, but also the end user – the soldier who goes on tour of duty in Iraq, or a SpecOp traveling to South America.
We are, and always have been, a company rooted in rigor and process, as well as creativity and flexibility. Our clients’ needs will change. Our world will change. But our mission will never waver. We’ll continue to stay ahead of the curve – to invent, innovate, and pursue excellence.
